My versatile outfit: stylish street-wear to yoga-wear
There are many strategies for ensuring that your wardrobe is sustainable. One tip that I didn’t include in my top tips is to ensure versatility of your wardrobe, so that one item can be used in many ways, and one outfit can meet more than one purpose. Today I am wearing such outfit, which is stylish enough to be worn out socially, but practical enough that it can also be worn to yoga. But doing this, I can reduce my wardrobe size and I can also avoid lugging around a change of clothes when I am out and about before my yoga class.
This sustainable outfit includes:
- Ethically-made organic cotton camisole from PACT
- Hand-made skirt using repurposed vintage sari silk (stay tuned for a tutorial to come soon!)
- Ethically-made organic cotton leggings by PACT
- Scarf- very old and bought on my travels- not ethically made. But try Sseko Designs for an ethical alternative
When I turn up at yoga, all I need to do is take off my skirt and scarf and I am ready!1
